Las Vegas, NV – In a momentous victory, Laborers Local 110 Business Manager Jose R. Gomez was elected president of the Laborers International Union of North America (LiUNA) Latino Caucus securing the trust and support of all LIUNA regions in the United States and Canada.
The election, held on Sunday, Oct. 12, in Las Vegas, marks a turning point in the organization’s history as this is the first time the presidency has been held from the Midwest Region. Gomez ran on a platform of unity and progress and promises to deliver bold leadership and a vision for a stronger, more inclusive future.
The team will immediately begin work to ensure a smooth transition of operations from the west coast office to the St. Louis office. Congratulations to the full Latino Caucus Executive Board.
